Job Description:

Our client, a leading fitness company with members-only studios across multiple locations nationwide, is seeking experienced Studio Operations Managers for each their New York City locations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of studio operations, ensuring efficient processes and delivering high-level service across various locations. This role will also support revenue generation through group classes, private training, retail sales, and special events, while maintaining operational excellence in day-to-day activities. The Studio Manager will oversee housekeeping, staffing, and facility management, reporting directly to the leadership team.

Typical Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the studios and digital products.
  • Participate in performance and growth team meetings.
  • Manage procurement and resources across studio locations with a focus on cost control.
  • Support revenue initiatives, including classes, training, and retail sales.
  • Collaborate with other departments on studio financials, communications, and marketing.
  • Execute operational plans to achieve sales and business goals.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of all studio processes, including facility management.
  • Maintain positive communication and high-level service for clients, vendors, and partners.
  • Oversee operational aspects such as equipment procurement, facilities management, and vendor negotiations.
  • Lead and make decisions regarding operational procedures, budgeting, and personnel management.
  • Work with HR to ensure adherence to policies and handle client complaints and grievances.
  • Develop and manage departmental structure and practices to meet evolving business needs.
  • Continuously find ways to improve the client experience by balancing speed, quality, and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business management or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in management, preferably in studio operations.
  • 3 years of leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of industry regulations and operational guidelines.
  • Proven experience with performance evaluation metrics in a business setting.
  • Strong project management skills and data analysis expertise.
  • Ability to collaborate with senior managers to set goals for operational efficiency and productivity.
  • Hospitality experience is a plus.

Locations: Midtown East OR Tribeca, NYC

Salary: Up to $80,000 + commission (possible flexibility DOE + OT), ability for benefits, PTO, 401k + company perks
