We are looking for a Sub-System Manager Bogie to join our outstanding project team, in Hornell, New York.We'll look for you to:
  • Contribute to successful rolling stock project execution and manage our newbuild bogie
  • Lead our multidisciplinary project core teams - Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain, Indus, Quality, etc, in cross-site and international teams
  • Liaison of Project and Customer with Alstom Bogie Component Center of Excellence overseas
  • Identify, prioritize, control and resolve critical project items, risks and savings
  • Responsibility for the technical decisions for Bogie Engineering and compliance with the contractual requirements regarding bogie engineering incl. design, validation, RAMS, EcoDesign etc.
  • Communication of project status, progress and trend to management, functions and customers by proper planning follow-up deviation analyses
  • Harmonize and perform action plans to secure project Quality, Cost, Delivery Targets

  • Degree in Engineering and Project Management, or equivalent qualification
  • Work experience with industrial products, ideally in the Railway sector with strong project management skills
  • Analytical skills, strategic thinking and solution-oriented action Commitment and ability to work in a team
  • Team player & Team leader with spirit and ability to work across sites/functions in a multi-cultural environment
  • Very good communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • Fluent in English language - writing and verbally
