Be prepared to work outdoors and stand for an extended period of timeWe will run a criminal background and driving record check on all potential hires.Valet Attendant Job Description/Requirements:(non-exempt role)Responsible for:Greeting all guests upon arrival, opening doors, explaining valet procedures, while providing exceptional customer serviceProvides valet parking services to safely and efficiently move guest automobiles to a designated parking location while following Company policies and proceduresThis function may include assisting with loading and unloading of luggage, providing information in regard to the facilities and events, and directions to local attractionsFollowing proper safe driving procedures and protocols; as well as properly reporting any damage claims or potential damage claimsKnowledge, skill and/or ability required:This position requires a current valid driver's licensePass Motor Vehicle Record Check according to our insurance standardsThe position requires you to be 18 years of age for driving purposesConsistent attendance is a job requirementHigh school Diploma or EquivalentDrive automatic vehicles, ability to manual transmission is preferredPhysical demands:Regularly walk, run, and stand, particularly for sustained periods of timeTalk, hear audible alarms, voice commands with background noiseUse hands and fingers to grip/handle objectsUse close and distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, adjust focus, work in various light conditionsMaintain alertness for 4-8 hour shifts, maintain concentration/focus for 4-8 hours shiftsOccasionally bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist, getting in and out of customer vehiclesAbility to lift and or push up to 25 pounds with controlWorking Conditions:The worker is subject to both environmental conditions. Activities occur inside and outside.The worker can be exposed to extreme heat/cold temperatures. Consideration should be given to the effect of other environmental conditions, i.e: wind, rain, and humidity.Pay Rate: $12 - 14 / hour.
