Apply now to be part of our mission-driven organization!Your day to day as a Subsidy CoordinatorAs a Subsidy Coordinator at The Resource Connection, you play a crucial role in the successful implementation of our subsidy program. Under the guidance of the Subsidy Supervisor, you meticulously carry out program operations to meet goals, adhere to regulations, and align with policies. Collaboration is key as you interact with R&R and fiscal staff, and the Program Director for seamless coordination. Your dedication to upholding guidelines, regulations, and policies set by the Board of Directors and funding sources is vital in providing support to families in need.Requirements for this Subsidy Coordinator jobTo excel as a Subsidy Coordinator at The Resource Connection, candidates must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of two years of clerical experience in an office setting, ideally involving eligibility determination for financial assistance. Additional coursework in early childhood education and at least two years of experience in child care, child development, family services, or community resources are preferred. Strong attention to detail, flexibility, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, email, and internet usage are essential. A solid understanding of childcare principles and practices, along with the ability to effectively communicate concepts to others, is crucial for success in this role.Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
  • High School Diploma or equivalency
  • Two years' experience working in an office performing clerical duties
  • experience working in a position determining eligibility for financial assistance insurance or a similar work environment.
  • Completion of 12 semester units in early childhood education preferred
  • Two years' experience in one of the following preferred: child care
  • child development
  • family services or community resources.
