We serve more than 68,000 clients per year throughout Middlesex, Somerset, Hunterdon, and Warren counties in NJ.Have you got what it takes to succeed The following information should be read carefully by all candidates.Substance Abuse Counselor - East Brunswick, New Brunswick, Edison, NJDescription(Position is FFS) Credentialed Substance Use Counselor for Level 1 outpatient substance abuse program in East Brunswick.May conduct full substance use assessments and make recommendations for level of careFacilitate group and individual counseling sessionsComplete treatment planning, discharge planning, as well as case management with state agencies for mandated clients.RequirementsBA/BS/BSW with CADC. Master's level with LCADC or in pursuit of LCADC is preferable.Should be familiar with NJSAMS state computer system and have experience completing substance use assessments with urine screens.Candidate should have clinical experience in group and individual modalities.
