The C-CAT program provides suicide prevention and postvention services which includes developing and delivering in-person and virtual workshops to various audiences including youth, parents, and professionals in a variety of venues across Long Island. Suicide postvention and crisis response services are provided in-person to schools, families, and businesses as soon as possible. Travel is required.LMSW - $63,000LMSW Bilingual in Spanish - $65,000LCSW - $66,000LCSW Bilingual in Spanish - $68,000We offer a generous benefits package including the following:Health and Dental InsuranceVision InsuranceFlexible Spending Account (FSA)Retirement Savings Plan with a 5% employer contributionLife and AD&D InsuranceGenerous PTO (paid time off)Up to 11 paid HolidaysPaid Sick LeaveStudent Tuition Remission ProgramEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Company paid Short-Term and Long-Term DisabilityEmployee Discounts and more!RESPONSIBILITIESThe Social Worker will provide suicide prevention presentations to a variety of audiences.Conduct outreach with schools and community organizations to schedule presentations.The Social Worker will conduct in-home and community-based sessions with families who lost a loved one to suicide as requested by clients (i.e., evenings, weekends, and holidays).Conduct in-home and community-based debriefings with groups impacted by critical incidents.The Social Worker will provide crisis intervention and referrals, as needed.Conduct suicide risk assessments for all impacted clients.QUALIFICATIONSMaster's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology required.Social Work, Mental Health Counselor, or Psychology License required.Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience working with people impacted by trauma required.Excellent interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills required.Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office required.Valid and clean NYS Drivers License required.Travel to client homes and other community-based settings required.Bilingual in Spanish preferred.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSSitting for long periods of time and traveling to conduct home visits.Family Service League is committed to the belief that all individuals deserve uncompromising respect.
