Gannett Fleming is looking for a Substation Drafter to join our expanding Power Group in the St. Louis, Mo office. . As a Substation Drafter, you will support utility and power substation projects and clients.The growth and diversification of the Power Business Line is a top initiative, on both a regional and national scale. Our clients include investor-owned utilities, renewable energy developers, and large industrial clients. This mix of clients offers our staff a variety of projects to be involved in.Responsibilities* Provide drafting support to substation engineers and senior engineers* Prepare and/Develop construction packages* Complete drawings such as: general arrangements, sections details, grounding details, raceway plans and details, Electrical elevations, single line diagrams, schematics, Control Building layouts and elevation, panel fronts, cabinet layouts, wiring diagrams, etc.* Requires attention to detail and ability to learn and implement client drafting standardsMinimum Qualifications* High school education: Associate degree in design, drafting preferred* 3 +years of Drafting Experience* Minimum of 1 year of substation drafting experience* Fluent in AutoCAD.
