This position is responsible for performing routine technical work, applying established techniques and procedures to perform engineering tasks under the direction and supervision of a senior engineer in support of the Cooperatives Strategic Initiatives. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Review and evaluate substation physical, protection and control design (stated in the position summary) Operate computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment Prepare and study technical drawings and specifications of substation design to become familiar with standards and customer requirements Perform detailed calculations to define and establish manufacturing, construction and installation standards and specifications Confer with engineers, customers and others to discuss existing or potential engineering projects and products Investigate customer or public complaints, determine nature and extent of problem and recommend solutions Research technical specifications Review construct...Engineer, Technical
