Substation Field Engineer

Location – Albuquerque, New Mexico

Salaries range from $120k-$140k plus PTO, annual bonus, overtime and company vehicle

Our Client:

Our client is a small consulting firm that have grown from 50 to 70 employees over the last 18 months. They work with rural coops in the Southwest as well as some larger utilities too. They have a great culture in the business and are looking for someone with a wealth of relay testing and commissioning experience who is open to overnight travel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ability to adapt with a changing environment.
• On site working 2-3 days every week.
• Experience and knowledge of site health and safety codes.
• Hands-on testing and commissioning of various relay settings and substation equipment.

The successful candidate must have/show:

• 8-10 years or more in Substation commissioning experience.
• Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline preferred (Electrical Engineering).
• Clean US Driving License.
