This position could be for an extended period of time or day to day coverage. The following qualifications are preferred. The appropriate certification as determined by the State Board of Education or its equivalent. The ideal candidate will display a vision for the future direction of providing college and career readiness for students. The ideal candidate will be an administrative leader , dedicated to fostering a positive and collaborative school community with a passionate commitment to supporting students.
- Experience in public school administration as a building Principal preferred.
- Develops and improves instruction within a professional learning community.
- Superior communication and leadership skills required.
- Must demonstrate interpersonal, organizational, and management skills needed to effectively solve problems, to lead and inspire excellence in students, and engaged teaching among staff.
- Supervise all personnel serving in the assigned school.
- Provides Leadership for the staff to maintain and develop quality programs that create an environment in which students achieve college and career readiness in an efficient and effective manner.
- Maintains a creative, forward-thinking mindset.
- Must create and sustain a positive culture that enhances a racially diverse population.
- Must demonstrate the ability to make sound decisions based upon careful research and analysis from all relevant sources.
- Must demonstrate approachability, accessibility, compassion, understanding, and the ability to maintain an established partnership with faculty, staff, students, and parents.
