- Ability to read, write and communicate effectively
- Criminal history background check
- Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
- New Jersey residency required
- TB/Mantoux test
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Medical clearance from job-specific physical examination (scheduled by the District during hiring process; district covers expense)
