Substitute educational aides play a critical role in supporting the educational and developmental needs of students, especially those with disabilities or diverse learning needs. Their role is instrumental in ensuring that students have the necessary support to succeed in their educational journey and thrive in the school environment. ?Location varies based on need. Key Responsibilities: 1. Classroom Support:
- Assist the classroom teacher in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with diverse needs.
- Encourage student engagement and participation in classroom activities.
2. Special Education Support:
- Work with students with special needs, providing assistance with tasks related to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Implement behavior management plans and interventions as directed.
- Assist in adapting materials and instructional strategies for individual students.
3. Student Supervision:
- Monitor and supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, and breaks.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students by addressing any safety concerns.
- Help students with daily routines.
4. Behavior Management:
- Implement behavior management strategies in line with classroom and school guidelines.
- Help de-escalate conflicts and address challenging behaviors.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
5. Administrative Tasks:
- Assist in maintaining records of student attendance and progress.
- Help with clerical tasks, such as photocopying, organizing materials, and record-keeping.

Qualifications:
