YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MEETING WITH FOOD SERVICE ADMINISTRATION FOR YOUR SPECIFIC DAILY JOB DUTIES.QUALIFICATIONS:* High School diploma or GED certificate or have sufficient ability to follow written instructions, schedules, interpret recipes and do the arithmetic necessary to adjust quantities* Willingness to participate in Food and Nutrition Service training* Ability and initiative to plan, organize and carry out assignments with minimum of supervision* Ability to work harmoniously with staff and students* Physical stamina and emotional stability to work effectively* Excellent physical and mental health* Neat, well groomed appearanceREPORTS TO:Food and Nutrition Services ManagerSUPERVISES:NoneJOB GOAL:Working under the direction for the Food and Nutrition Service Manager and/or assistant manager, stores, prepares and serves food and cleans equipment and food service areasTERM:Nine and one quarter (9.25) monthsSALARY:Food Service Salary Schedule -Worker BPERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:* Prepares meats, vegetables, salads, dressings, breads, and/or desserts as directed* Serves on serving line(s)* Assists in storing groceries, meats, and supplies* Cleans cooking equipment and kitchen, serving and dining areas as directed* Assists with maintaining proper sanitation* Attends workshops as scheduled* Performs related duties as required
