Description: The qualified candidate must show enthusiasm for work, and assume responsibility with minimal direct supervision. The part-time substitute mechanice will be called on an as-needed basis, and will assist the head mechanic and transportation staff.
Qualifications: - High School Diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated knowledge of diagnostic and repair skills of both diesel and gasoline bus/truck engines, electrical systems and body components.
- The ability to obtain the required CDL license to operate a school bus in the state of Ohio.
- Demonstrated aptitude of competence for assigned responsibilities.
- ASE Certification preferred.
- Such alternative to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
