Paraprofessionals perform the following instructional support roles in general and special education classrooms:
- Special Education Classroom Aides
- Special Education Personal Care Assistants
Among other duties, Paraprofessionals:
- Engage directly with students and staff
- Perform instructional support tasks like supervision, tutoring, and coaching
- Perform behavioral support tasks like communicating positive expectations, prompting/signaling, and redirecting
- Perform clerical support tasks like preparing materials and recording progress and observations
Substitutes may serve in per diem, short and long-term assignments to replace a permanent employee who is absent. Full or half-day assignments available with the ability to schedule in advance using our web-based Absence Management software. $110 per day for the 2024-2025 school year. Great opportunity to:
