Students of the Upper Moreland Township School District will be provided with the foundation and skills necessary to excel in the exciting, complex, and interdependent world in which they live.SUMMARY: Responsible for providing nursing services to students in assigned building.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: (Other appropriate duties may be assigned.)
- Maintain health and nursing services records for students
- Identify school health problems and inform staff members and administration as necessary
- Organize, schedule, perform, and record annual health examinations and screenings
- Dispense prescribed medication and health services as directed by a physician order
- Provide care for first aid, accidents, and illnesses
- Complete state required paperwork and reports in a timely manner
- Serve as a resource for staff and administration in regards to school health services
- Serve on relevant committees and groups as needed
- Serve as the liaison between parents and the school on all health related matters
- Provide outreach to families for the collection of state required examinations and immunization records
- Provide support for school related health pandemic concerns, including outreach, family contact, and reporting
- Other duties as assigned by administration

- LPN or RN active PA license is required.
- CPR/First Aid active certification is required.
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others

- Must have the ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basis
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, operate a computer, hand-held learning devices and other office equipment, reach with hands and arms, and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
