MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge of: Correct English usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and vocabulary. Modern office practices, procedures, and equipment Ability to: Experience and Training. A high school diploma or equivalent and any combination of education and experience that would provide the qualifying knowledge and abilities. Special Requirements: Secretary I. Possession of or ability to obtain valid California driver's license. Knowledge of software systems for word documents, spreadsheets, and database files. Secretary II Possession of or ability to obtain valid California driver's license. Knowledge of software systems for word documents, spreadsheets, and database files. Possession of CPR Certificate. Possession of valid first aid qualification/Standard Red Cross First Aid Certificate. Secretary III Possession of or ability to obtain valid California driver's license. Two years of responsible secretarial and clerical experience as Administrative Secretary I, II, or related experience. Knowledge of software systems for word documents, spreadsheets, and database files. Secretary IV Possession of or ability to obtain valid California driver's license. Experience as Administrative Secretary III or related similar position. Knowledge of use for software systems including word documents, spreadsheets, and database files. Knowledge of principles and practices of accounting and financial record-keeping, budget development, and monitoring Physical Requirements: Ability to exert 50 pounds of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Ability to stoop, climb, stand for long periods and perform physical labor, physical mobility, and stamina to participate in activities that may be strenuous.
