Substitute would help classroom teacher with non-teaching duties such as preparing resources and teaching materials while performing classroom task. * May be assigned to work with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce learning of material or skills initially introduced by the teacher. * May be assigned to supervise and monitor students in study halls, lunch rooms, classrooms, or supervise students on playgrounds. * May be assigned to supervise students at play time and maintain a harmonious atmosphere on the playground and direct movement of groups to and from playground * May be assigned to read to students, listen to students read and participate in other forms of oral communications with students. * Other related tasks/responsibilities assigned by the immediate supervisor
