CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTPossession of certification as required by Kentucky law.Certifications:
- Hold a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution or
- Have at least ninety-six semester hour of college credit with at least a 2.45 GPA or
- Have siixty-four to ninety-five semester hours of college credit with at least a 2.45 GPA
For this type of employment, state law requires a national and state criminal history background check and a letter, provided by the individual, from the Cabinet for Health and Family Serivces stating the employee is clear to hire based on no findings of substantiated child abust or neglest records maintained by the Cabinet for Health and Family Services as a condition of Employment.
