Only available one or two days per week? No problem! Rate of pay for non-retiree substitutes is $160/day, $170/day for 10 or more cumulative days in a school year retroactive to the first day of work in the school year. Rate of pay for substitute teachers retired from PSERS is $195/day.Qualifications: PA teaching certificate, demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with others, and acceptable record of attendance required.
