As a Long-Term Substitute Teacher, you are first and foremost responsible for increasing student achievement by consistently ensuring the implementation of instructional practices and strategies endorsed by ChanceLight Education and in accordance with Ombudsman policies. In the absence of the regular classroom teacher, the Long-Term Substitute implements curriculum, classroom schedules, lessons/plans, and other instructional materials to meet the individual needs of each student, considering state and school requirements and the students' physical, emotional, and educational levels of development.

This position operates with oversight and guidance from the Center Director in carrying out the essential duties and responsibilities to provide overall leadership, quality assurance, managerial and administrative support for the assigned students and Ombudsman program site.
