School Professionals -

School Professionals is hiring teachers available to work as substitute teachers, teacher aides, and assistant teachers for clients across Staten Island. An interest and past experience with early childhood education is especially encouraged. Formal (former classroom teaching) or informal (former volunteer work, coaching, after-school, internships, etc.) experience will be considered.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Carrying out the professional duties of a classroom teacher
  • Adhering to school policies and School Professionals policies
  • Possessing a positive attitude while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Reporting for scheduled work reliably and punctually
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and supportive classroom environment
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience: At least 3+ months experience in a teaching, childcare or analogous position with preschool-college

OR Any of the Following: A semester of student teaching, enrollment in or completion of a Master's in Education

Early Childhood experience especially encouraged
