Description: Substitutes serve the District in the same capacity as a regular classroom teacher, or instructional aide, during their absence.
Job Summary: This is an on-call position. Substitutes are paid a daily fee for services rendered. (Substitutes are not eligible for benefits or unemployment compensation) Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university
- A properly registered Professional Educator License with any subject area teaching endorsement or a substitute teaching license
- Proficient with PCs, tablets, and other mobile electronic devices
- Demonstrated aptitude for the work to be performed
- Demonstrated aptitude as a self-starter who works with minimal supervision
- Effective communication, human relations, and problem solving skills
- Strong customer service skills
