We are currently looking for a Quality Intern at our Exton, PA office. The 2025 dsm-firmenich Summer Internship Program will begin June 9th, 2025 and run through August 14, 2025Our standard working hours are Monday - Friday (37.5 / 40 hours per week)Join our DSM Biomedical Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs team as an intern and gain invaluable professional experience. The Quality Intern role is a support function with site responsibility within product quality, quality engineering & quality systems functionalities. You will assure that DSM Biomedical products are of consistent and high quality by assisting the Biomedical Quality Assurance department with activities that provide support for existing products, internal customers and ensure compliance to regulations.   • Assist the Product Quality Team in quarantining nonconforming material, following up on scrap approvals and / or material dispositions for product stored in quarantined locations. Execute approved disposition for aging quarantined materials.
  • Perform gap assessments and create organized systems for External Standards, Standard Operating Procedures, and Quality Agreements.
  • Support evaluations of Nonconformances, Root Cause Analysis, and Implementation of Corrections and Corrective Actions.
  • Revise documents by creating redlines and initiating Engineering Change Requests and Engineering Change Orders.
  • Support customer quality audits by retrieving and reviewing requested documents and records.
  • Reviewing, cataloguing, and following up on Supplier Change Requests and Supplier Corrective Action Requests.

  • Currently working on completion of a Bachelor's degree in Quality, Science, Engineering or related field;
  • Candidates must be available to work full-time beginning on June 9, 2025 - August 14, 2025;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Good attention to detail, proof-reading skills & ability to identify errors;
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow;
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
The hourly rate for this position is $23.00 - $26.00 per hour.
