DescriptionWe're glad you're exploring our Engineering internship opportunity and want to share some of the details.As an Engineering intern, you will be responsible for assisting the production and engineering teams with cataloging, inventorying, and adding spools to our manufacturing processes in D365. You will also have the opportunity to work on various projects with the engineering team, such as conducting time studies, implementing improvements and additions to engineering calculators, working in our ERP system, and conducting mechanical and material property testing.You will have the opportunity to work with a group of engineers and other team members at our G&S Bar and Wire facility in Wooster, Ohio. We are looking for students pursuing degrees in Engineering, specifically Mechanical Engineering, and who are interested in pursuing a career in Engineering. Education & Experience Requirements
- Must be enrolled in college or university
- Previous internship experience is preferred
- Must be pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Job Responsibilities
- Work 40 hours a week
- Working with the assigned mentor and team to complete your project
- Will vary based on project details
Skills Needed
- SolidWorks, preferred
- Ability to work independently
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Strong attention to detail
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

- Must be able to access all areas of operation, including second floors
- Sitting/standing for long periods of time
