Your Role:
The Global Transportation Intern will support the Transportation Manager with daily execution and end-to-end delivery strategy. This intern will act as a liaison between the VS&Co Logistics team, internal partners and external service providers.

Your Impact:
* Develop a thorough understanding of the inbound logistics network for all international shipment modes
* Through data analytics and report building capabilities, influence decision making and network planning
* Present and speak on behalf of the Transportation Services team to internal and external partners.
* Proactive risk and disruption management.
* Lead communication to internal and external partners to ensure business direction and needs are met.
* Responsible for accessing all transport services in the market and reporting new offerings and potential improvements to department manager
* Provides weekly reports to management detailing provider delivery performance, corporate volume and sourcing trends, and special projects as needed
* Gain appreciation for various modes Transportation, acquire relevant business knowledge, and demonstrate analytics capability by end of assignment
Minimum Salary: $23.00
VS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual salary will be determined by a number of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic region, or other relevant factors.
Qualifications
Your Experience:
* Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in relevant field (eg. Business, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management
* Must be able to work for at least 10-12 weeks during May through August
* Strong analytical abilities, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and understanding of Microsoft Access a plus
* Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills required
