Our Summer Associate program is designed to provide law students with a practical real-world experience through challenging legal assignments similar to those given to new associates. Summer Associates are commonly invited to attend depositions, mediations, deal closings, client meetings, trials and other professional activities and events in order to provide perspective as to the day-to-day demands of a career in law. We view our Summer program as an extended interview process and look to hire Summer Associates that will thrive in our program and return to our firm after graduating law school as full time Associate Attorneys. An ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials, a positive can-do attitude, and would contribute to a collegial firm culture that values diversity of ideas and experiences. All candidates must be enrolled in and in good standing at an ABA-accredited law school. Preference will be given to students in the top twenty-five percent (25%) of their law school class.
