Apollo Capital Solutions The Apollo Capital Solutions (ACS) team acts as an accelerator to all of Apollo's businesses, supporting cross-platform origination, capital markets and syndication. Seamlessly coordinated interactions through ACS allow Apollo to deliver a unified and holistic set of solutions and products to sponsors, corporates, banks, LPs and investors. The team is comprised of ~35 investment professionals in New York and London. Top performers in the internship will be considered for a full-time position upon completion of their graduate studies.
Summer Associate Primary Responsibilities At Apollo, we work as one team, partnering across regions and disciplines to share the perspectives and insights that lead us to exceptional opportunities. You'll partner with junior and senior level professionals on a range of projects at every stage of the investment cycle. As a Summer Associate on the Apollo Capital Solutions team, you will get exposure to origination and coverage, capital markets and syndication activities, as well as assist the broader team with additional ad-hoc projects:
- Origination & Coverage: Provide analytical and project support for all investment related activities. This includes working on all stages of the investment or transaction process and originating on a variety of different industries and products as well as market screens in evaluating additional client outreach where we believe there may be financing opportunities needed
- Capital Markets: Support Private Equity and Credit Capital Market professionals by being involved in transaction mandates, broker-dealer activities, underwriting programs, bridge activities, contingent capital trades and relationship scoring. Help prepare underwriting materials and analyze market, pricing, and demand trends
- Syndication: Help support the distribution execution for both sponsor and corporate/non-sponsor opportunities, coordinate syndication efforts with senior team members, understand the respective markets as well as the companies/transactions being sold
Qualifications & Experience - Pursuing an MBA or JD/MBA (Class of 2024) with an excellent academic record and a demonstrated interest in finance through previous internships, jobs, and coursework
- At least two years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, or relevant buy-side experience (restructuring, industry coverage, M&A, FIG, or Leveraged Finance backgrounds preferred).
- A critical thinker with strong quantitative and analytical skills who expresses their thoughts and ideas clearly both in oral and written communications
- A collaborative thinker who can also work independently, multitask, and prioritize competing demands to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive and organized self-starter with a positive attitude, powerful work ethic, strong attention to detail, and experience and comfort in Excel
Pay Range 125,000 - 175,000 The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
