Camp Laurel is a traditional, residential camp located in the Belgrade Lakes region of Maine. Our 500 campers are between the ages of 7 and 15 and all join us for one full-summer session. Our 300+ seasonal staff come from 35+ states and 15+ countries each summer. We are looking for an experienced, organized, and fun Soccer Director for the 2025 summer.Responsibilities
- Program Development
- Design and implement a comprehensive Soccer program that caters to a diverse range of skill levels and ages.
- Develop a curriculum that focuses on skill enhancement, fundamental understanding, and overall player development.
- Integrate fun and engaging activities to keep campers excited about Soccer.
- Coaching and Instruction
- Lead daily Soccer clinics and drills, providing hands-on instruction to campers.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages teamwork, sportsmanship, and individual growth.
- Tailor coaching strategies to individual camper needs.
- Staff Management
- Oversee and develop a team of qualified Soccer counselors.
- Provide ongoing support to staff members, promoting a collaborative coaching approach.
- Camp Events and Tournaments
- Organize and coordinate our Bec Soccer League and other special events throughout the summer.
- Coordinate games and tournaments against other nearby camps.
