We aim to execute our Built to Make You Better brand promise for all our stakeholders, including our associates.Requisition ID :16895Employment Type :Full TimeJob Category :Operations / Warehouse / DistributionWork Location :Atlanta, GA (Whse)JOB TITLE: Supervisor, Night ShiftDUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:Supervises department workflow to ensure optimum productivity service levels are maintained for appropriate 3rd shift departments.Documents attendance and conducts reviews for large associate base.Supervises daily workload to ensure optimum service levels are maintained.Ensures completion of all necessary paperwork.Completes weekly payroll information.Operates basic and advanced warehouse vehicles.Promotes safe work practices.Performs all duties inherent in the role of MSC supervisor as defined in the MSC code of conduct including hiring, termination, review and development of associates.Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure unity of purpose and fulfillment of MSC's mission.Strives to meet or exceed all building goals.Tracks production and quality.Supports associate involvement in safety through team engagement in the Safety Culture.Actively engages in continuous improvement efforts within the department using assessment tools to mitigate risk.Assists with the budgeting process.In order to meet customer service requirements, associates can be temporarily re-assigned to other warehouse functions.Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required.INDICATES ESSENTIAL DUTIESTo perform this job successfully an associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.JOB DESCRIPTIONJOB TITLE: Supervisor, Night Shift (cont'd)EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:Associate's degree or the equivalent required.Minimum of two years job-related experience required.SKILLS:Good working knowledge of all warehouse functions (inventory, cycle count, VMI, receiving, cubiscan, etc.) required.Must obtain MSC license to drive distribution center vehicles within specified time requirements.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Bending to lift items from the floor and racks required.Lifting items between 25 and 75 pounds required.Ability to operate at heights up to 50 feet required.Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time required.MISCELLANEOUS:Position may require a valid states driver's license.Why MSC?
