Description
The Superintendent - Healthcare and Education - Raleigh will be responsible for:
- Oversee and manage all on-site activities for public sector construction projects, including medical centers, K-12 schools, and higher education facilities.
- Lead and coordinate project teams, including subcontractors, vendors, and internal staff, ensuring project milestones are met.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
- Manage job site safety, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and the company's safety protocols.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Maintain project schedules, manage resources, and oversee project budgets for jobs valued at $10M+.
- Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues and conflicts to minimize project delays.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and permits.
Profile
The Superintendent - Healthcare and Education - Raleigh will have the following experience:
- 5-8+ years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, with a focus on public sector projects such as healthcare, K-12 schools, and higher education.
- Proven experience managing projects valued at $10M or more.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent (required).
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software and project management tools.
- Ability to problem-solve and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
