North Carolina General Contractor seeks a Superintendent with multifamily experience to lead high-value projects ranging in value from $25 - $100 Million in the Greenville, NC area. This role is with a leading, North Carolina-based construction company that offers career development, competitive pay and benefits, and that is known for their community involvement. Required Skills & Experience:
- 5-10 years of experience within the construction industry managing ground-up projects in excess of $20 Million.
- Experience working on wood-framed multifamily and/or senior living projects is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of managing field operations within the construction setting is a must.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to lead and mentor subcontractors, field personnel, vendors and related stakeholders.
- Necessary skills include knowledge of scheduling and creating look-ahead schedules, managing subcontractors, enforcing site safety, working with owners, clients, and architects, and maintaining constant communication throughout the construction process.
- College degree in Construction Management or related major is strongly preferred.
