Share job SuperintendentThe Commercial Construction Superintendent oversees all phases of a commercial construction project, ensuring that it is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Oversee the entire construction process from start to finish, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordination: Coordinate the work of subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Compliance: Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements.
  • Budgeting: Manage project budgets, including cost estimates for labor, materials, and other expenses.
  • Scheduling: Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of materials and completion of tasks.
  • Quality Control: Perform quality control checks to ensure the work meets the required standards and specifications.
  • Safety Management: Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between clients, project managers, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress.
Qualifications:
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Several years of experience in commercial construction, with a proven track record of managing large projects.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as OSHA, PMP, or LEED are advantageous.
