Qualifications:Education/Certification:Master's degreeSuperintendent Certificate or currently working towards certificationAppropriate Texas Education Administration certificate1. Provide leadership and direction to the district's quality education program.2. Directs, guides, and facilitates the district's strategic planning processes.3. Supervises and evaluates the district's principal and central office personnel.4. Organizes and facilitates instructional leadership opportunities for current andaspiring teachers.5. Oversees the formation of the budget and financial operations of the district.6. Actively supervise and provide direct assistance and counsel to principal and centraloffice personnel.7. Lead and facilitate the Comprehensive School Improvement Plan and Building SchoolImprovement Plan processes.8. Maintains communication with educational leaders at the local and state levels toremain abreast of educational trends and issues.9.
