Working in all phases of the CRE lifecycle, Vestian is looking to add a Construction Superintendent / Project Manager to help oversee construction projects in the Tri-state area. With a commitment to excellence and a focus on delivering high-quality projects, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Superintendent / Project Manager to join our team.

Job Summary: The Construction Superintendent / Project Manager will oversee all aspects of construction projects from planning to completion. This hybrid role involves managing day-to-day construction site activities and coordinating project management tasks to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Coordination:

  • Review project documents to review constructability and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Develop project budgets and identify value engineering where necessary.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients on an ongoing basis for project success.
  • Create and maintain overall project schedule and 3 week lookaheads as needed to successfully manage the project.
  • Ensure necessary permits and inspections are obtained and planned as needed.
  • Proactively manage all phases of construction to benefit the client above all else.

On-Site Supervision:

  • Oversee daily construction site operations.
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed and enforce site safety regulations.
  • Monitor work progress and quality control.
  • Schedule and coordinate subcontractors as needed to ensure project success.
  • Identify and proactively resolve issues onsite with required stakeholders.

Resource Management:

  • Manage labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Coordinate deliveries and logistics.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on-site.

Communication and Reporting:

  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders.
  • Provide progress reports and updates.
  • Address client concerns and inquiries promptly.
  • Process RFI's, Submittals and other engineering activities for project success.
  • Oversee project closeout including quality control, documentation and client vendor coordination.
  • Maintain overall project schedule through all phases.

Financial Oversight:

  • Track project expenses and manage budgets against baseline.
  • Review and recommend for approval invoices and change orders.
  • Ensure financial goals are met and cost savings are identified.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management and site supervision.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple construction projects simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in online construction management software and tools.
