Job Description:

Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Superintendent to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of commercial and residential roofing projects. The Superintendent will work closely with our project managers and construction teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate job specifications to employees and subcontractors to ensure clear understanding of project requirements.
  • Coordinate with office admin and subcontractors to schedule customer jobs, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Monitor subcontractors' work to ensure it meets our standards and adhere to roofing codes, regulations, and manufacturer specifications.
  • Manage projects within provided budgets and track overall job profitability, optimising resource allocation and cost-effectiveness.
  • Maintain Installation Calendar, coordinating crews and deliveries to ensure timely installations.
  • Visit job sites in progress to ensure customer satisfaction and address any concerns or emergencies promptly.
  • Monitor roof installations to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications, contract terms, and our safety standards.
  • Utilise your expertise to diagnose installation errors and recommend corrective actions for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the roofing industry, with a strong understanding of roofing codes, regulations, and manufacturer specifications.
  • Ability to set clear expectations and provide excellent customer service throughout the project completion process.
  • Strong verbal communication skills, enabling effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose installation errors and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
  • Strong time management capabilities and the ability to navigate the logistics of the region.
  • A high sense of urgency, ensuring prompt response to customer concerns and project emergencies.

Pay: $85,000 - $100,000 + Benefits & Bonus
