As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of woodframe multifamily construction projects from start to finish. This includes managing field personnel, subcontractors, and the construction schedule to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards.Client DetailsWe are a highly reputable general contractor based in South New Jersey, specializing in the construction of multifamily woodframe projects. If you have a passion for managing multifamily construction projects and a strong background in woodframe construction.DescriptionKey Responsibilities:* Oversee the construction of woodframe multifamily projects from site preparation through to completion.* Manage daily activities on-site, including supervision of subcontractors, laborers, and vendors.* Ensure adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.* Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work progress, quality, and safety compliance.* Resolve on-site issues promptly, acting as the main point of contact for all construction-related matters.* Review and interpret project blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate execution.* Monitor and manage the flow of materials, tools, and equipment to keep the project on track.* Maintain strong communication with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders.* Ensure compliance with all local building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations.* Maintain detailed and accurate project documentation, including daily reports and progress logs.* Enforce safety standards, conducting safety meetings and ensuring adherence to OSHA guidelines.ProfileQualifications:* Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Superintendent, specifically on woodframe multifamily construction projects.* Proven track record of successfully completing multifamily construction projects on time and within budget.* Strong knowledge of woodframe construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations.* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and specifications.* Excellent leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.* Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with subcontractors, team members, and clients.* Proficient in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.* OSHA 30-hour certification and other relevant safety certifications preferred.* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is a plus.Job OfferWhat We Offer:* Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.* Opportunities for career advancement and professional growth.* A collaborative and team-oriented work environment.* Stability and long-term employment with a well-established and growing company.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
