- Directs, supervises, makes, or controls the making of electrical installations and ensures all electrical installations meet minimum safety standards; Design, plan, and lay out work at Salem Health hospitals and Clinics.
- Ensure proper electrical safety procedures and all electrical labels and permits required to perform electrical work are used and signed; Performs skilled maintenance, repair, and construction, serving as a technical expert, and working with internal departments and outside customers.
- Manages, tracks, schedules, and reports status of various projects, preventative maintenance, and service request program status; Performs preventative maintenance routines as assigned, documenting performance and creating work orders as needed in CMMS.
- Performs Life Safety and Environment of Care inspections, repairs, maintenance, and testing, documenting performance and creating work orders as needed in CMMS. Performs routine repair, installation, and modification of facility equipment, documenting performance and creating work requests as needed on the CMMS program.
- Maintains work areas, tools, and equipment in a clean, organized, and safe condition as part of daily routine; Participates in competency development program. Background/Expertise: - High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required.
- Oregon General Supervising Electrician License required
- Supervises the following roles: Per OAR 918-###-#### supervises the quality assurance and code compliance for electrical work performed by employed Salem Health electricians.
- Building system knowledge is required; Proper and safe use of a variety of tools, and troubleshooting devices is necessary.
