  • Evaluate and treat children with gross motor delays, difficulties with mobility, gait, strength, balance, coordination, range of motion, postural and tone concerns, neuromuscular disorders, as well as assessment of orthotic and equipment needs
  • Supervise team members, when applicable, in the performance of patient care that is consistent with patient's needs and within scope of practice following professional licensure and company requirements
  • Documents, prepares and completes a Plan of Care, progress notes, orders and other clinical documentation to support and justify service delivery
  • Provides effective communication and collaboration with patient/family, team members, leadership, and other health care professionals
  • Accept clinical assignments that are consistent with education and competence to care for patients
  • Applies concepts of infection control and universal precautions in coordinating/performing patient care activities
  • Meets mandatory continuing education requirements of the agency/licensing board
  • Promotes company mission and administrative policies
Requirements
  • Skilled PT with at least 1-year recent Pediatric experience in home health, acute care, or out-patient setting
  • Supervision of Assistant, student, or other team members at least 6 months
  • Bachelor of Science, Masters or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy
  • Current Texas State License as a Physical Therapist
  • Current Texas Driver's License with reliable transportation and proof of auto liability insurance
  • Current CPR certification
  • Team oriented
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
