Job Description
Collin County is seeking candidates for the position of Supervision Officer I for the Community Supervision and Corrections Department. This position manages the day-to-day operations of a mixed felony and misdemeanor caseload according to department policies and procedures established by TDCJ-CJAD. Represents the department in dealing with local, state and federal agencies in conjunction with casework. Prepares Pre-Sentence Investigation reports ordered by the judges. Performs misdemeanor and felony court work. Performs any other duties assigned by the supervisor, unit supervisor, or assistant director.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in criminology, corrections, counseling, law, social work, psychology, sociology or related field, approved by the CJAD director. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience and certification. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
