Job Summary:
This position is responsible for the supervision of daily activities within the Accounts Payable Department. Coordinate month end closing with Accounts Payable and IProc. Prepare and complete month end closing process for Accounts Payable. Complete required account reconciliations in Blackline/FloQast. Verification of vendor setups in Oracle, Microsoft D365, Epicor, QuickBooks and BaaN. Assist with internal and external audit requirements. Assist with AP monthly and quarterly cash forecast. Complete annual 1099/1042 reporting. Extensive experience and expertise in ERP systems and associated tools are critical skill requirements. This position involves working with various forms of technology requiring solid PC skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, various systems). Critical to success is a track record of exceptional customer service. Ensure success in serving the customers of the Shared Services Group, excellent communication skills are required.
* Responsible for North American Accounts Payable activities within the shared services department.
* Monitor the research and audit of invoices and purchase orders that require additional workflow attention.
* Monitor the resolution of Accounts Payable Exception file from Oracle.
* Monitor IProc daily processes and the timing of transactional completions.
* Communicate with multiple levels of internal and external partners regarding Corporate Policy, vendor terms, status, resolution to invoice discrepancies, and General Ledger inquires.
* Complete annual 1099/1042 reporting.
* Proactively seek opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy through documented process improvement.
2. Cash Management
* Monitor critical payments transmitted as required.
* Monitor legacy ERP transactions and clearing payment file are completed.
* Monitor file errors and EDI payment file failures.
* Audit/research/resolution of uncleared payments.
* Monitor that all clearing payment files are completed monthly.
* Verification of payment files for accuracy and completeness.
3. Performs month end duties for multiple divisions.
* Verify that all Month-end accruals are completed and posted.
* Verify AP disbursements are in balance with Oracle.
* Monitor that Interfacing of BaaN transaction to Oracle are completed before payment runs and month- end close.
* Coordinate that all GRNI reconciliation (BaaN and Oracle) are reconciled and submitted to Blackline.
* Review monthly Accounts Payable Reconciliations.
* Complete monthly Accounts Payable and IProc KPI's.
4. Execute vendor maintenance in multiply divisions.
* Verify that vendor set ups are completed accurately in Oracle, Microsoft D365, Epicor and QuickBooks.
* Verify authenticity of vendor bank account credentials.
* Troubleshoot issues that arise with vendor setups.
5. Provides leadership/training/troubleshooting to Accounts Payable and IProc for internal and external customers.
* Answer various accounting questions regarding AP Subledger.
* Audit and confirm that corporate policy is followed when related to accounting.
* Assist with internal and external audit research requests.
* Provide training and leadership to the Accounts Payable and IProc team.

* Proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically Excel
* Knowledge with various ERP systems, workflow automation programs, and T & E Systems.

* Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
* Previous managerial experience.

Experience:
* 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience; Shared Services Model preferred.
Education:
* College degree: Bachelor's in accounting, Finance, or Business related preferred.

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $51,279.00 and $ 73,255.00 per year and may include cost of living adjustments. The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
