Pay Range: $55,000-$60,000 annually Acting under the general supervision of the Patient Accounts Manager, has overall responsibility for the successful follow up and collection of the Hospitals accounts receivable. Also responsible for the development of training materials for A/R operations. Performs critical role in maintaining adequate cash flow to the hospital. Responsible for trending, tracking, analyzing and auditing denials, A/R, write-off's and staff performance. Education/Training: Bachelor's Degree Required. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, HCPCS/CPT coding, UB92, and third-party payer regulations required. Experience: Minimum of four (4) years recent experience in a healthcare (preferably hospital) claims environment, with experience in all major third-party payers, to include, but not limited to, Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross, Managed Care, Commercial, Worker's compensation and No-Fault. At minimum two (2) years of Supervisory experience required. Must be well-versed in Excel applications.
