The UHS Corporate Accounting Department is hiring a Supervisor- Accounts Payable & Payroll Support Services to provide support and guidance to the Payroll and Accounts Payable Analysts. This position will work closely with the Accounting Services leadership.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Supervises and supports the Support Services analysts for AP & payroll.
* Supervises all support functions for the bi-weekly payroll process for all UHS facilities; including ensuring all payrolls are complete.
* Performs set-up of new processing levels and implementation of system upgrades. Provides assistance for projects outside of payroll process.
* Manages support functions for the AP processing for all UHS facilities, includes the McKesson Accounts Payable system.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with 3 - 5 years' experience in a hospital-based payroll process. 2 years of college coursework and significant experience (10 or more years) may be considered in lieu Bachelor's Degree requirement.
* Responsible for ensuring all payrolls are complete each payroll.
* Knowledge of accounts payable functions and basic accounting.
* Supports other internal systems including Lawson LP, Absence Management, ADP (payroll and garnishments), EZ-Pay, MHC RAS, BSI tax, Quick Charge, and McKesson/Allscripts.
* Provides requested payroll and AP information and/or reports requested by regional finance personnel in the gathering of information for auditors.
* Must be able to work in an office environment at the corporate office and be able to travel to new acquisitions for training and 'go-lives.'
* Assists in annual and quarterly federal and state filings including year-end wage reconciliations and adjustments in preparation of W2 and 1099 reporting.
* Performs on-going maintenance of Lawson profiles and set-ups.
* Builds individual processing levels in these systems for new acquisitions.
* Provides on-going analysis and review of Lawson system regarding modules, malfunctions and interfaces. Addresses assigned TTS issues.
* Serves as a lead for payroll and AP projects and initiatives.
