As the Supervisor, Billing & Payment Services (BPS), you will play a crucial role in providing leadership, guidance, and motivation to the BPS team.

A Day in the Life

* Supervise, coach, and mentor a team of 10 (Payment Processor Specialists, National Account Processors and BPS Analysts)

* Leverage technology, process improvement, workflow and team development to increase the capacity and scalability of the BPS team as well as meeting defined service levels

* Maintain metrics and stats to track team performance and progress

* Maintain knowledge of Fuel, Maintenance and Rental billing

* Oversee the end-to-end billing and payment processing, including reviewing payments and approving

* Supervise teams progress to ensure all tasks are completed for Billing Cutoff each month

* Work with IT Team to implement process improvements (Continuous Improvement - CPI aptitude)

* Manage financial controls and billing governance for the BPS team, including reconciliations to resolve discrepancies

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment inquiries in a timely manner

* Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, managing vendor inquiries, client inquires and addressing payment-related concerns

* The point of contact for internal and external BPS related inquiries, including audit request responses

* Generate reports and provide analysis on BPS metrics and KPI's, such as invoice and payment processing, timeliness, and aging

* Be familiar with SAP, EZDOC, AI, EXTRA, DQRY, Smart Sheets, Content Navigator, Macros and how to enter incidents and Peers

Requirements

* High School diploma required, bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, and/or a related field is preferred

* 5+ years of relevant professional experience required, with 2+ years of supervisory/mentorship responsibilities

* Strong knowledge of SAP, Content Navigator, Electronic File Transmission processes (EFT), FTP and EDI file transfer processing, Service Cloud, Data Queries

* Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office Suite

* Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment by leveraging strong attention to detail, prioritizing, and multitasking

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify process improvements and implement effective solutions

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

The hiring base salary range for this position is $60,400 - $83,100 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual's knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data.
