SUPERVISOR OF CENTRAL BILLING OFFICE to join our team! **This position has the opportunity to be remote**The Supervisor of Central Billing Office performs day-to-day supervisory duties related to managing the customer service teams. Participates with the Fiscal Department on review of contract variances and denial management as noted for hospital and clinics where claims follow up is performed. Provides hands-on involvement. Assists with evaluations, fiscal outcomes, and leadership including training, interviewing, and problem solving with employees.
HOURS: Full time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours per two weeks pay period. MON - FRI 8:00 - 4:30
Experience/Qualifications Knowledge of billing standards and practices normally acquired through a high school diploma required. Bachelor's Degree in business or other related field desired. A minimum of three years' experience in medical billing required. A minimum of three years' supervisory experience preferred. Hospital and/or clinic management experience desired. Direct experience in a hospital, clinic, or insurance company setting required. Expected to work extended hours to attend meetings and meet deadlines. Travel to local and regional sites with some overnight travel may be required. Possesses good oral and written communication skills.

Aspirus Wausau Hospital is the flagship of the Aspirus system that serves patients in 14 counties across northern and central Wisconsin, as well as the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
