Role Purpose
Results-driven position with supervisory responsibility to lead the Technology Center team and its daily operations, and plan and execute a variety of technology projects that vary in complexity. The team supports Workplace Services and its customers to ensure effective implementation and maintenance of technology initiatives, systems, and applications under its ownership or management. Position will work directly with Technology Center team members and Corning Information Technology, as well as internal customers, staff groups, and external vendors. This position incorporates overseeing staff, managing projects, and ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures. As a member of the Corporate Services leadership team, execute and achieve goals and objectives defined in the organization's annual operating plan, and lead assigned strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Team Supervision
* Recruit, train, develop, and supervise WPS Technology Center team members.
* Manage supervisory administrative activities in support of staff professional development and growth, and Human Resources initiatives. Includes performance evaluations, coaching and feedback to foster growth, development, and succession for the team.
Technology Center Operations Oversight
* Address open issues, break/fix, change in process and bugs.
* Receive new requests, assess, and assign to appropriate resource.
* Monitor and manage customer expectations and requirements.
* Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
* Lead Power-BI management and key performance indicators (KPI) program. Drive the use of KPI measures and metrics to monitor functional processes and drive use of data to make informed decisions.
* Support team in data management ensuring access to sourcing data and opportunities to analyze data to provide detailed to solutions.
Experiences/Education - Required
* Bachelor's degree in a related field
* Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience
* Partnership experience with Corning or other organization's corporate IT function
* Strong leadership and team-building skills
* Strong project management skills
* Excellent problem-solving abilities
* Effective organizational skills with attention to detail
* Knowledge of current technology trends
* Excellent computer skills with focus on Microsoft 365. Ability to quickly learn additional platforms
* Prioritize projects and manage multiple tasks concurrently
Experiences/Education - Desired
* Standard working hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM EST, Monday through Friday. However, availability extends beyond these times and could include weekend and holidays for system administration, project implementation, system upgrades and resolution management, when required.
* Candidate available to work onsite in Corning, NY when required. Hybrid work schedule negotiable.

The range for this position is $86,359.00 - $118,744.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
