Calspan's full vehicle crash lab is world renowned for its experienced, flexible and collaborative staff and for having the most modern and secure vehicle crash test facility in the United States of America. We are seeking a full time Supervisor to support testing in our state of the art facility in Buffalo, NY.

Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities Listed Below - Compensation and position level commensurate with education and experience.
* Manage in alignment with our Company Values. Lead with the intent to create a respectful and healthy work culture that embraces inclusion. Manage administrative responsibilities and assume full responsibility for accomplishments of department functions.
* Support testing by efficiently operating equipment and ensuring accurate results and records. Provide support in the resolution of electrical or technical problems.
* Ensure that preventative maintenance and calibration of facility and equipment is performed and performed correctly.
* Monitor department facility budget; enter requests for purchases and provide input on budget to help reallocate funding to cover un-projected costs, minimize expenditures and planning during annual budget process.
* Support the maintenance, installation and repair of test equipment to maximize operational availability.
Qualifications
Preferred Education / Experience:
* Associates or Bachlors degree in related discipline
* 5+ years' experience or a combination of education and experience equivalent to above
Preferred Knowledge / Ability:
* Must be able to manage Troubleshooting mechanical or electrical problems
* Electrical and electronic principles
* Perform operations and execute test procedures
* Read and interpret engineering plans and specifications
* Testing and inspection principles and procedures
* Microsoft Office
