GENERAL FUNCTION
The Distribution Supervisor manages the day-to-day operations of the After Sales Warranty and Repairs department with a focus on service. The Supervisor is responsible for continuous improvement, daily management of all labor resources, and achievement of KPI's, goals and objectives established for the department and facility.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises, plans, organizes and problem solves for the Warranty Department.
Plans staffing needs based on forecasts and business needs. Operates in compliance with federal, state, and local statues.
Administers and ensures compliance with Company policies, OSHA standards, and applicable employment laws.
Prioritizes daily workflow and schedules staff to achieve department goals.
Coaches, trains, and leads employees to meet prescribed productivity and service goals.
Implement changes in processes to maximize efficiency.
Work in partnership with different departments to ensure customer satisfaction and process efficiency.
Makes hiring decisions and performs performance evaluations for employees.
Ensures consistent daily/weekly expense control.
Monitors a system of controls to ensure that service levels and operational performance goals are met within prescribed cost and profit parameters.
Establishes processes that enhance productivity through continued efficiency gains.
Measures and maintains key performance metrics.
Conducts audits to ensure employee accuracy and quality standards are being followed.
Assumes additional responsibilities and performs special projects as needed or directed to support the business.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor degree
3+ years' experience in logistics
3+ year's supervisory experience
Knowledge and experience in Microsoft office, SAP, WMS
Ability to lead and motivate a team
Ability to multi-task
Must be highly organized
Possess strong problem resolution skills
Ability to interact in an effective manner with all levels of the organization
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently
Must be flexible and able to adjust with shifting priorities
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Strong problem solving and data analysis
Working knowledge of SAP WMS
