Responsibilities - Selects trains and evaluates staff; Establishes and maintains department staffing and schedules ensuring appropriate number of qualified/competent staff are available while maintaining cost effective staffing mixes and patterns; Ensures staff maintain facility with a high level of cleanliness and that department guidelines are followed
- Monitors bed discharge cleaning needs and ensures that discharge beds are cleaned in a timely manner and with a high degree of quality; Monitors daily equipment use cleaning and maintenance to ensure that all equipment is maintained in an appropriate working condition
- Maintains department quality improvement program and oversees the quality of service delivered ensuring that units are survey ready at all times
- Supervises the departmental inventory and allocation of resources as appropriate and ensures these follow hospital guidelines
Qualifications Education and Experience:
- Associate's Degree or a combination of education and/or additional job related experience
- Minimum three (3) years environmental services experience
Licensure:
