Under the general direction of the Manager of EVS, organizes and supervises the activities required to ensure the facility is maintained in a safe and sanitary manner, in which to conduct the business of providing HealthCare. Scope of responsibility extends to business locations on campus of Meritus Medical Center. In collaboration with the manager, responsible for program planning, recruitment and retention, orientation and training, safety, and quality control. Responsible to schedule resources and delegate responsibilities to assure that quality patient care can be provided through maintaining the standards set forth by policies and procedures. Responsible for customer service and problem resolution. Promotes service excellence and role model behaviors. Interviews and selects staff while monitoring staff retention and satisfaction. Coordinates departmental activities with departments served.
Education- associate's degree preferred, High school graduate or GED required.
Experience - 1 year of health care environmental services experience required
Licensure/Certification - N/A
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities - Computer skills to maintain and schedule resources and inventory needs; communication skills to improve team performance; demonstrates knowledge for process improvement; leadership skills to retain staff
